Fresh Property Group’s NHS Charity Day

May 11, 2020

To show our support for the ongoing efforts by the NHS throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, the Watkin Jones Group will be holding a Charity Day on Thursday 14th May.

Hosting three simple fundraising activities, staff from across Watkin Jones and Fresh Property Group will be helping to raise awareness and money for our NHS.

In the UK, we will be donating to NHS Charities Together. There are 250 NHS Charities in the UK providing funds and services above and beyond what the NHS alone can provide.

And in the Republic of Ireland, to ensure we are supporting a fantastic local cause, we’ll donate all proceeds to our Irish charity partner, Jigsaw, a charity that focuses on aiding young people suffering with mental health issues, a cause that is close to our hearts (and heads).

What’s happening?

  • Donate Your Daily Savings: From commuting, to morning coffees and work lunches, our daily expenses have reduced amid the National lockdown. We’re asking our staff to donate their daily savings where they can to help reach our target of £1,000.

  • Help spread joy by wearing a rainbow: We’re inviting staff members and their families to get creative by wearing all the colours of the rainbow. We want to flood our online portals with positivity by getting staff members to send in photos of their colourful efforts, including their childrens’ hand drawn rainbows and even their pets in costume.
  • Our Virtual Quiz: Bringing people together whilst practising social-distancing, all participants will be encouraged to pay to play, and there’s even a prize of a well-deserved delivery meal for the lucky winner!

Help us fundraise!
If you can help, please head over to our charity pages to make a donation to either our UK JustGiving Page or our Irish charity partner Jigsaw via our EveryDayHero Page.

We’re looking forward to a day filled with positive activities to help lift spirits during this difficult time but also help to raise money for two amazing causes.
